Rocky Mountain Soap Co. | Soap in Lavender, Pumpkin & Vanilla Candy Cane

Rocky Mountain Soap Company is a Canadian company that focuses on providing 100% natural and toxin-free products. RMSC offers handcrafted soaps and other body care products in a huge selection of scents. They serve their products up in an array of fun colours and lovely packaging. The quality of the products, the endearing product descriptions, and their Canadian status, all lured me in and have me hooked on this brand.

Brand Standards: Toxin Free, 100% Natural, No animal testing, Eco-friendly (RMSC’s products do not harm natural habitats or aquatic life once down the drain and into the environment) (Info from: Rocky Mountain Soap Co.)

With so many scents to choose from, it’s not hard to come home with a delicious chunk (or chunks) of soap! I always cut up my soap to make it last longer, so that's why some of the pieces are much smaller than average! Also, the lavender and pumpkin soap are from a the Six Soap Sampler I treated myself to, so those were half bars to start with.

Rocky Mountain Soap Company is one of the first companies I found that met all the criteria from my About Me page. I was very excited to find a company that had so many different scents that were natural. No artificial fragrance here! RMSC filled the gap for body care in my regimen.

Lavender Soap: Crafted with lavender essential oil and actual pieces of lavender flowers, this soap is beautiful to use and look at. The soap is naturally coloured with minerals, so that pretty hue comes at no risk to sensitive skin. I’m not normally a fan of lavender, but this soap converted me. It has a more pleasant to me than other lavender products I’ve used, which might be because it also has yarrow herb. Lavender and yarrow are supposed to be great for acne and since this soap can be used on the face and body, it can help clear up whatever area you’re concerned about.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Canolate (Canola Oil), Sodium Cottonseedate (Cottonseed Oil), Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender), Achillea Millefolium (Yarrow Herb), Ultramarines (Ultramarine Blue), Iron Oxides (Red Iron Oxide)

Pumpkin Soap: I picked this bar of soap because it is described as being a “hero” for people with dry irritated skin. I can’t agree more, this soap is super gentle, and helped me calm down my chapped hands during the winter. I loved that it has almond oil to moisturize, but more importantly—pumpkin pulp! I feel like that’s a unique ingredient that I haven’t seen too often. The pulp is supposed to help sooth the itchiness of irritated skin. And, of course, like all RMSC soap I’ve tried, it has a great, silky lather.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Canolate (Canola Oil), Sodium Cottonseedate (Cottonseed Oil), Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Fruit, Prunus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat Germ)

Vanilla Candy Cane Soap: This lovely soap is a limited release that comes out only at Christmas. It’s nice and minty without being too overwhelming because the vanilla really tones it down. It smells good enough to eat! I think the best way to describe the scent is candy cane sugar cookies. It’s a great festive scent, but can still be used all year round. Which I do… I stocked up on this scent!

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Canolate (Canola Oil), Sodium Cottonseedate (Cottonseed Oil), Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Vanillin (Vanilla)*, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Ultramarines (Ultramarine Blue). *Organic
