Hurraw! Lip Balm Root Beer

An all-natural, vegan, Lip Balm in the flavor Root Beer arranged as a flat lay with a red and white striped straw

Hi everyone! I'm excited to do this post because this is one of the first natural products I ever bought. It's Hurraw! Lip Balm. You may have heard of it, as I have seen it make the rounds through other natural beauty bloggers. There's so many scents to choose from that it's not hard to find something you like.

This is actually my second post I've done on Hurraw! Lip Balm, so this is the next post in the series. See my other post here: Hurraw! Lip Balm | Chai Spice.

To recap from Hurraw!'s site and my last post: Hurraw! set out to create the perfect lip balm. Their name comes from the fact they use "raw" ingredients.  I love the high standards Hurraw! holds their products too. Not only are the ingredients healthy, but when creating their product they gave themselves a list of criteria: Super smooth, not draggy, not sticky, not sweet, not too glossy, not too smelly, never grainy, long lasting; plus, it had to hold up to being in a back jeans pocket all day without melting!

Brand Standards: Natural, non-GMO, fair trade, organic, vegan; raw ingredients are purchased from reputable suppliers; supports fair trade organic farmers from the USA and worldwide. (Info from Hurraw! Balm)

I find it’s a very smooth lip balm that never leaves a weird after taste. It absorbs well, and doesn’t get gummy or leave weird residue like some lip balm does. The packaging is really well thought out and good quality. The tube is rounded, but it’s flat enough that it won’t roll away. It fits well in my pocket, but I usually keep in in my purse. It’s held up well considering I drag it everywhere with me.

Root Beer

Okay, yum! Root Beer? This brought me back to my childhood when I used to have Lip Smacker’s Root beer lip chap (not anywhere near how healthy this one is though). As part of my stomach condition, I can no longer drink pop, so this was a great way to experience root beer again.
