Product Philosophy | The Products Seen on Alison Sarah Everyday
Makeup and skincare brands should have healthy and quality ingredients. At Alison Sarah Everyday, my goal is to exclude common skin allergens, and any low-quality or potentially harmful ingredients. David Suzuki Foundation and the Think Dirty App are excellent educational resources on this topic.

On this blog, you will see products with words like clean, natural, organic, green, toxin-free, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, etc. These words are a great place to start because these companies tend to uphold my product philosophy (and exclude my allergens!). But, to avoid greenwashing I research the brand further.

Products featured on Alison Sarah Everyday must fit the criteria outlined below:
  1. The brand lives up to what it claims—if it claims to be: clean, natural, organic, green, toxin-free, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, etc.; then I want it to 100% correct, not just buzzwords.
  2. The brand offers high-quality ingredients (because you and I deserve the best!).
  3. The brand excludes potentially harmful ingredients.
  4. The brand is transparent about product ingredient lists (and the list is easy to find!).
  5. The product performs appropriately and does what the brand claims it should.
